Project Brief
The two founding partners asked BRAND to build a unique identity for their financial consultancy that was derived from their family names and one partner’s ancient coat of arms. The new brand, dubbed Guardtower Financial, incorporated a three-dimensional castle keep on a G-shaped shield that projects a history of strength and security to the marketplace.
We integrated their identity into exterior and interior signage, print and electronic stationery, and various document templates. We also assisted in creating official business forms that were fully compliant with strict industry rules and regulations. And we made all of these resources available throughout the company via an easy-to-use Digital Asset Library.

Corporate Identity
The Guardtower name set the design direction for the company’s identity. It evoked a well-built, well-managed organization capable of protecting its client’s interests and investments.

Logo Mark
BRAND chose Guardtower’s logo mark as the primary means of embracing and communicating the importance of heraldry in the overall design. The mark was based on a stylized battle shield suggested by one partner’s family coat of arms.
The shield evolved throughout the design process to incorporate a reference to the company name, as well as period architectural elements. Finished mark captured and defined the essence of the brand and clearly differentiated it in the marketplace.
